Biography: 

Marion Vernoux (Montreuil-sous-Bois, France, 1966) was production assistant for Java Productions and Sandor Productions from 1984 to 1987. Since 1988 she has written several screenplays, including Pacific Palisades for Bernard Schmitt's film, Le dernier des métiers for Philippe Galland, Pêché Capital for Luc Béraud. Her first film as a director was Personne ne m'aime in 1994, which earned reasonable international success. In 1996 she completed the screenplay for Love, etc., which was presented the following year at Berlin out of competition in the Panorama Special section. In 1999 her film Rien à faire was in competition at the Venice Film Festival.
