Biography

Screenwriter and Director of short films to have won international prizes, he also directed the documentary NIETOS (special Zabaltegi screening in 2004), about the children of ‘the disappeared’ whose identities were re-established thanks to the “Grandmothers of the Plaza de Mayo”. Benjamin Avila is a Producer of educational television programs as well. Infancia Clandestina, his first feature film, is based on true events in his life.
