Biography

Assistant to Philippe Garrel for ten years, Hadrien La Vapeur shot super 8 experimental films. Fascinated by the trance and the spirit world, he meets Corto Vaclav, anthropologist. They both go to Congo, where men live daily with their ancestors, to immerse themselves in this reality and shoot documentaries in direct cinema. They founded the label Expédition Invisible to regroup their different works.
