Biography

Louis-Do de Lencquesaing is an actor, a screenwriter and a film and theater director. After Au Galop (In a rush), selected in Cannes 2012 Critics’ Week, The Holy Family is his second feature film. But Louis-Do is also known for his many roles in film, theater and television. Highly noticed as Humbert Balsan in Mia Hansen-Løve’s The Father of My Children, he also played for Godard, Sokourov, Assayas as well as Bonello, Giannoli, and more recently Bertrand Blier. He’s also the lawyer Eric Edelman in Engrenages (Spiral), Canal + successful tv show.
