Biography

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 1976. After studying Literature, cinema and theater, she published three novels «El Niño Pez» (Beatriz Viterbo, Tusquets, 2004), « 9 minutos » (Beatriz Viterbo, Tusquets, 2005) and « La maldición de Jacinta Pichimahuida » (Interzona, 2007). XXY, her first feature film, received the support of the Cine Fondation, Fond Sud, INCAA and ICAA. She also directed short films, documentaries and TV miniseries. Studies PHD in Argentine Literature and Critical Theory (University of Buenos Aires) Major in Screenwritting (ENERC, school of the INCAA) Workshop with Gabriel García Marquez (School of San Antonio, La Habana)
