Biography

Bernard Bellefroid began his career as director and screenwriter with the shorts Fiona (2001) and Quand on est mort, on ne respire plus (2002). Then, he directed a number of documentary short and medium length films, among which the multi-award-winning Rwanda, les collines parlent (2006) and Pourquoi on ne peut pas se voir dehors quand il fait beau? (2007). La Régate (The Boat Race) is his first feature film.
