Biography
Elsa Diringer was born in 1982 in Strasbourg and grew up in Montpellier. After literary studies and a Masters in Film Studies, she worked as a sound assistant for film directors like Alain Resnais, Nicole Garcia, René Féret... In 2009, she directed her first short movie, Ada, produced by Lazennec and screened in competition at Clermont-Ferrand Short Film Festival. Among several short films directed within a collective named Tribudom, which works with the inhabitants of the so-called "sensitive" neighborhoods of northeastern Paris, one of these, C'est à Dieu qu'il faut le dire, coproduced by Agatfilms, was selected by many festivals, and candidates for Luitins awards for Best short movie. Luna is her first feature film.
