Biography
Sébastien Laudenbach competed in the most prestigious festivals through its past achievements : JOURNAL (1998, Youth award in Clermont-Ferrand), DES CALINS DANS LES CUISINES (2004, preselection Césars 2005), REGARDER OANA (2009, Selections Annecy, Clermont-Ferrand), VASCO (2010, Critics’Week Cannes 2010, preselection Césars 2012) and DAPHNÉ OU LA BELLE PLANTE co-directed with Sylvain Derosne (2015 Prix Emile Reynaud). THE GIRL WITHOUT HANDS is his first feature film, adapted from the short story by the Brothers Grimm.
