VIOLENCE DES ECHANGES EN MILIEU TEMPERE

At the age of 25, Philippe moves to Paris from the provinces to join a major firm of management consultants. On the morning of his first day at work, he meets Eva, a young single mother he soon falls in love with. His first professional assignment, which fires him with enthusiasm, is to prepare the confidential takeover of a family business by a major industrial group. His first reports are high-quality and he wins the trust of his boss who extends Philippe's remit: he is to select those employees capable of adapting to new working practices. And lay everybody else off. Now, Philippe has to convince himself and Eva that what he has been asked to do is right. It is a decisive moment not only his career, but also in his life.
A 25 ans, Philippe débarque de sa province pour intégrer à Paris un grand cabinet de consultants en entreprise. Le matin de son premier jour de travail, il rencontre Eva, jeune mère célibataire dont il s'éprend. Sa première mission, qu'il aborde avec enthousiasme, est de préparer le rachat encore confidentiel d'une usine par un grand groupe. Ses premiers rapports sont convaincants.Il gagne la confiance de son chef qui lui confie une nouvelle responsabilité : sélectionner le personnel apte à travailler dans la nouvelle organisation de l'entreprise. Et licencier les autres. Dès lors, Philippe doit se convaincre et convaincre Eva du bien fondé de sa tâche . Un choix déterminant pour la suite de sa carrière, et surtout pour lui même.
